What is an aura and why is it important?

The aura you generate represents the kind of person you are and how people perceive you. Your aura and state of mind are vital because they contribute immensely to your success and achievements. It’s everything that defines you- your attitude, thoughts, feelings, emotions, behavior, etc. For example, top athletes create an aura that wins matches before they even start competing. How they practice, dress, their body language, the general image they portray and ultimately their results determine their aura.

Therefore, the energy emanated from you is extremely important as it contributes to how people relate to you, their first impressions, and generally, it determines your reputation and personality. For example, if you meet someone for the first time, and their body language or handshake proves to be frail. What would your impressions about this person be? Not so positive, right? You wouldn’t be willing to be around him/her for a long time, because their anemic energy will be transmitted to you too. This being said, it’s significant to emanate positive energy, so that you and the others around you can benefit from it.

How to create a powerful aura?

The best ways to brighten up your aura is to change your physiology first of all. Watch out on your posture, gestures, the way you walk or communicate, the face expression, and look in the mirror sometimes, maybe you’ll notice that your eyes don’t reflect as much happiness you thought they do. Afterward, create some kind of ritual that boosts your energy level, so you can bring it whenever you feel the lack of it. For example, invent a movement or gesture such as a fist pump and feel the goosebumps it conveys. The feelings obtained from the gesture are more important than the gesture itself.

Self-awareness is extremely important!

Moreover, another essential option is to change your inner environment. You can do that by managing your thoughts and emotions, and also by maintaining a positive self-talk or perspective. The way you look from the outside reflects vividly the way you feel inside, so I consider it efficient to try and change your aura by either way:  whether you manage your body language first or your thoughts (which could prove to be more difficult).

Another suggestion would be to ask your friends or people you trust, about how they view you and what kind of energy you emanate. Maybe you don’t look as cheerful and energetic you thought you do. Their feedback would help you to efficiently change the way you perceive yourself and adjust to a more lively behavior. Once you have created your aura, the impact it can have on people’s impression and the surrounding environments is vast.

  • Energy givers are people that brighten up the atmosphere and their presence itself makes you feel happy and enlivened.
  • Energy takers are negative, unpassionate, and gloomy. Spending time with these people makes you feel the same. Protect your energy from this kind of people.

Make sure to do your best and surround yourself with energy givers, positive, and inspiring people, but not those who lure you into their depressant state of mind. At the same time, be yourself an energy giver and uplift the others.

Energy sources

Enthusiasm– the most effective source of energy in the world. It is considered so because it’s simply positive and it conveys joy, passion, and spirit to the work you undertake. You can bring up enthusiasm recalling to the passion and love for the work and by remembering in the first place why you’re doing this. Strive to bring up enthusiasm and energy into whatever you’re doing. Once you begin practicing enthusiasm, remember to recharge your batteries so you will not run out of fuel. In this way, you can go again, with a “beginner’s mind” and a renewed sense of refreshment.

Enrich your aura by the simple choice to raise your standards and change your attitude. Be like the sun- bright, warming, powerful and full of energy!

You are gaining more energy by staying positive, enthusiastic, engaged, and excited.
